You will join our UK service team, which is the largest throughout EMEA. You will report into the national service director and will lead, develop and manage a team of field and support engineers, primarily responsible for installing and commissioning our inverters and switchgears systems, for which we are among the leading manufacturers. You will also be responsible for driving operational synergy within service. You will be expected to spend around 50% of your time on the road.


- Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with internal policies
- Ensure efficient utilisation of the team, compliance to regulations, field audits, training
- Develop, inspire, motivate and manage the team in line with our leadership model
- Drive operational improvements in field engineering, order / call management (UK & abroad)
- Act as technical and operational escalations point for customer
- Liaise with points of contact in the factories, technical teams and EMEA Services
- Facilitate as applicable in the implementation and delivery of improved field service ERP system
- Contribute to the UK country sales organisation Service strategic plan
- Understand competitors’ tactics, organisation, distribution, strategy and pricing
- Define performance metrics and evaluate and interpret data to drive performance improvement
- Identify, define best practices and new standards with the EMEA Service Operation Manager
- Interact with other operational teams in the country to identify and implement synergies


- Proven track record in Operational Management, knowledge of field engineering services in the electrical / mechanical industry
- Solid line management experience and strong interest in spending time on the field coaching the team and providing close support to customers
