Senior Supply Chain and Planning Analyst
Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain and Planning Analyst to join our team.
This position is based at our Perth, Canada Location.
This position is responsible for leading critical Supply Chain teams in Eaton Electrical Sector, Canada manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and business unit headquarters. The incumbent will also support the Supply Chain Manager, Plant Manager, Materials Manager and Transportation Manager to drive inventory reduction, freight reduction and increase material velocity to positively impact performance. They will also strategize process improvements to yield savings in materials cost, while reducing cycle time and improving quality and delivery. The incumbent will act as the Oracle subject matter expert (SME) for the planning team across Canada, and support the deployment of MMA, and Lean activities.

You will explain information to peers to influence and/or persuade to improve performance
There is no supervision in this role, however, you will provide incidental guidance and training to staff in Supply Chain and operations
You will optimize inventory, freight, material flow and Kanban utilization.
You will understand and support the requirements of various customer channels (e.g. retail, OEM, distributor, international, inter-unit, etc.)
You will collect and incorporate customer forecasts and historical demand information into forecasting database to be used as input into SIOP
You will provide Oracle training and support across all locations to standardize and achieve best practices to achieve optimal results from MRP planning
You will support Supply Chain leadership team in on-going materials management functions
You will support manufacturing plant, materials, logistics and purchasing in Supply Chain initiatives
You will lead Supply Chain and Operational Excellence projects at manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and headquarters operations in support of SCOE initiatives
You will drive inventory reduction and inventory turn improvement projects through analytic programs
You will support Lean implementation and integration projects related to Supply Chain
You will analyze data, including enterprise requirement planning information, and prepare reports as needed for execution and recommended actions in order to optimize plant operations
You will support cost-out initiatives at various operations
You will support other Supply Chain materials functions as identified
You will perform audits of Global Vista product registration and maintenance to ensure alignment with Oracle

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor of Economics, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce or Engineering Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or industrial engineering
Must be authorized to work in the Canada without company sponsorship
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel experience
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP system
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in Oracle and Global Vista order management
Experience leading teams
APICS CPIM Certification
