Job Description

Eaton’s Vehicle Division is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager. This position will be based out of our Galesburg, Michigan facility.
 
As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will take a leadership role in establishing global Marketing Communications (MarCom) strategy for Eaton transmissions and Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies product lines. Partner with Product Directors, Product Strategy Managers, Program Managers and OEM and Roadranger sales teams to strategically plan, facilitate, and manage marketing communications programs that support the group’s objectives.

  • You will work with product managers and sales teams to understand their goals, objectives and strategies in order to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing communications plan utilizing mediums such as print and digital advertising, web, PR, trade shows/events, and promotions for the business, including its markets, partners, and products
  • You will plan and attend customer events, trade shows and exhibitions
  • You will execute product launch processes, in line with Eaton's guidelines and targeting specific customer segments
  • You will work with stakeholders and agencies to deliver relevant content to social media platforms
  • You will assist in marketing content ideation and leads the prioritization of projects to ensure content aligns with strategic marketing plans
  • You will lead the development of Eloqua email campaigns by working with product, sales and marketing stakeholders to identify targets and messaging to be deployed by the Industrial Sector digital team
  • You will be responsible for marketing content in the Product Data Hub (PDH)
  • You will establish, track, and report key performance metrics against benchmarks
  • You will coordinate and integrate efforts with other Marketing & Sales personnel and cross-functional teams on a global basis as needed
  • You will continuously monitor industry conditions and competitor actions
  • You will manage external supplier relationships, invoices, and projects
  • You will develop plans for process improvement, cost savings, and recovery
  • You will contribute or manage department-wide initiatives and projects such as the bi-annual Global Sales & Marketing Meetings, press events, supplier selection process, financial tracking, etc. as needed

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Educational: Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in business, communications, advertising, journalism or related field.
  • Professional: 5 to 7 years of experience in Marketing Communications field, preferably in a business-to-business setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Digital Marketing (email campaigns, social media, demand generation) background
