Job Description

The primary function of this role is to act as the HR business partner to the Bangalore plant manager in the development and implementation of HR strategy, programs and polices for the site.  The HR business partner will partner with the site leaders on the strategic development of organization capability, talent recruitment and development, performance management, reward and recognition.  The HR business partner will ensure that they are developing and deploying business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key talent.  The HR business partner will support and help drive the creation of a high-performance, sustainable organization with a focus on obtaining the key business objectives.
  • Provides guidance and direction to business leaders on all human resource management policies, processes and systems in accordance with Eaton's expectations, local and country laws
  • Manages the  full talent management life cycle for the site
  • Coaches employees and leaders to maintain high levels of employee engagement and manager effectiveness
  • Develop and deploy effective learning processes to meet current and future organizational needs
  • Act as a change agent for the site leadership team and employees
  • Support the execution of all High 5 metrics for the site
  • Support the creation and sustainment of a zero incident safety culture
  • Deploy all HR initiatives and requirements as expected by the function
  • The role will closely work with country and regional COEs


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum at least 10- 12 years of experience in Human Resources; minimum 3  to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of applicable local and country laws, labor laws, compensation, talent leadership and development
  • Must be able to provide conceptual thinking, logical reasoning, ability to understand and explain complex issues and thinking; articulate a long term vision and strategy, as well as execute short term solutions; business acumen; leadership skills
