Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This position is based at our Beltsville, MD facility.

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for performing expert level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment.

  • You will test devices to observe performance for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems
  • You will repair and/or replacement of defective parts; reconditioning and repairing machine tools.
  • You will construct and alter physical facilities to accommodate changes or improvements.
  • You will Works with Planner Scheduler to optimize preventative maintenance procedures
  • You will identify and sources parts, supplies and repair items

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of electrical experience OR Electrician License from an accredited institution and minimum 5 years of related experience in specific industry
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Maryland State Electrician License
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical experience
  • Background in machining, metal working and welding machines
  • 1 year of experience running a machine with multiple settings or specifications
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings

Position Success Criteria:
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • This position requires standing and/or walking for an entire eight – twelve hours
  • Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment
  • This job requires working daily with lubricants and solvents
