Manufacturing Engineer - Entry Level
Eaton Vehicle Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at Belmond, IA facility.
The Manufacturing Engineer, proposes, coordinates and implements projects related to manufacturing engineering. Conducts activities to achieve daily and long-term safety, quality and productivity goals. Participates in business unit team meetings and helps the team accomplish department action plans. Develops safety improvements and works with team to support required upgrades to equipment.

You will justify capital equipment purchases and research and select vendors for capital projects. Create drawings for components and/or machine design using AutoCAD Inventor
You will develop and coordinate projects utilizing basic project management and structured project management skills.
You will evaluate machine capabilities and recommend additions, replacements and rebuilds.
You will conduct new machine and machine rebuild runoffs.
You will establish specifications for requests for quotations.
You will design and recommend improved manufacturing processes.
Work with business unit teams to develop goals and objectives for that area and implement cost savings ideas.
You will evaluate and recommend process improvements to improve quality.
You will research and develop solutions to OSHA, ANSI and internal safety requirements for processes and equipment.
You will troubleshoot process problems as related to productivity and quality.
You will coordinate testing to optimize performance of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operating) supply items.

Bachelor’s degree in, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Agricultural engineering from an accredited institution by NO later than May 2019
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualification:
Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, and CNC
Prior experience with capital equipment justification, project scheduling and project planning.Position Criteria:
Experience with AutoCAD Inventor or similar CAD system
Ability to communicate with varies levels of an organization
Experience with problem solving tools
