Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer  to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa facility.
The Sr Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the Supplier Quality System in order to accomplish the requirements and specifications of the design of components received from suppliers.

Some activities related with the position will be:
  1. Implements appropriate quality procedures for the areas of: Entrance Inspection and Supplier Development.
  2. Coordinates and controls: Implementation of activities related to  Supplier Quality System, Process of parts approval/ products.
  3. Co-lead or participate in quality planning for product or process development activity
  4. Co-lead or participate in supplier quality system assessments
  5. Demonstrate experience in measurement systems analysis
  6. Lead cross-functional problem solving and process improvement initiatives
  7. Lead supplier advanced quality planning activity through the product development / launch cycle
  8. Train or mentor others in problem solving techniques
  9. Conduct supplier quality system assessments
  10. Manage the MRB area to reduce and maintain in low levels  the amount of parts in the cage.
  11. Notify to supplier about defective material and manage the containment activities and corrective actions.
  12. Receive , review and follow up PPAP approval process to achieve PPAP approvals for current/new part numbers.
  13. Folow up Focus 5 program to help suppliers with low quality performance to improve quality and track results on monthly basis to achieve take them out of the Focus 5 list.
  14. Has the authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems.
