Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a SCM Manager – Logistics to join our team. This position is based at our Haina’s facility.

Are you up for the challenge?
Here’s what you will do:
  • Provide the highest customer service, keeping inventory and air freight costs, as well as an efficient logistic service to get the customer with the material in the right time.
  • Elaborate key metrics for the internal customers (On time delivery, Inventory accuracy, inventory adjustments, receiving discrepancies) and analysis of Performance to Load detractors for weekly staff presentation.
  • Establish and support all the initiatives to improve and maintain the Pull System in the plant.
  • Create the structure to make sure that the product is received in Haina and get to the production line in the right time.
  • Guarantee the best practices of the AS-400 system and inventory management
  • Weekly participation at conference calls where action plans are taken on Performance to Load detractors previously discuss at Department Staff Meeting.
  • Monitor internal and customer warehouses to guaranty products availability. Relaying on logistics elements such as product transfers from one warehouse to another, transfers from a warehouse to a plant and vice versa. Providing daily follow up to shipped orders, assuring that they reach their final destiny.
  • Daily Non-Stock order planning follow-up, based on plant capacity and Load Plan. Provide follow up and assure accomplishment. Orders must be sent to the customers at the correct and corresponding date.
  • Daily support to manufacture area to solve problems that delay product shipped on time.
  • Supervise the performance and execution of the Logistics Supervisors and raw material inventory levels.
  • Guarantee a structure in the plant to make sure the product get to the final customer faster and in good conditions.
  • Daily follow up of “Expedite Request” sent by the CSC (Customer Support Center) personnel, through VISTA system.
  • Develop tools to improve the process in the shipping area
  • Create a continuous flow in the shipping are to hold the statement on first in first out.
  • Supervision of all containers shipment process.
  • Guarantee that every product get to his final destination
  • Supervise the performance and execution of the Logistic Supervisor


Here’s what you need:
  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar careers.
  • Minimum experience of 5 -7 years in similar positions.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, VISTA Preferable.
  • MAPICS Certification as a plus.
  • CPIM Certification as a plus.
  • Knowledge of Eaton – Electrical products.
  • Knowledge of Lean Tools and 6 Sigma.
  • Knowledge of MRP, Inventory control and Custom Laws.
  • Preferable experience at the manufacturing area.
