Job Description

Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro city facility.
The Production Scheduler  is responsible for daily execution against the production plan for assembled and manufactured components. Utilize MRP to review and create order releases, monitor and maintain action and exception messages, and manage inventory levels for internal components and assemblies.

Some activities related with the position will be:
  • Create a production plan based on the plant master schedule
  • Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line
  • Received and update production orders to reflect changes in BOM’s
  • Expedite and assign priorities to production orders, cascading priorities to internal supply plants
  • To be the plant campaigner finishing all production orders older than 2 weeks
  • Deliver Work Orders on time
  • Drive accountability for past due status
  • Process and create intercompany orders as needed
  • Provide information to master schedulers about production order and expedites status
  • Coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability
  • WO schedule attainment in daily basis
  • Provide information on delivery dates to our customers
  • Drive sales according to the financial plan
  • Schedule according to min max guidelines
  • Work and communicate with IT team to stablish schedules for new parts
  • Negotiate and seek for approval for expedites of finish goods to our customers
  • Maintain the appropriate levels of finished goods inventory

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree required in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • 3-5 years of experience scheduling Materials in manufacturing Industry
  • Proven experience using forecasting tools and min max analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills
  • APICS CSCP and/or CPIM Certification preferred
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • MfgPro Knowledge preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
