Job Description

Primary Function:             
The main function of the Material Planner is the planning and managing of finished goods within the distribution channel of the sales organization Israel with the aim of a high availability, taking into account economic considerations. The duties of the Material Planner is to monitor, supervise and coordinate the procurement and delivery needs as well as the maintenance of material planning specific item master data dedicated to her/his suppliers and items.
-             Constant monitoring the planning parameters to the current situation
-              Maintain materials planning item master data by supervised default
-              Maintain local material and purchasing master data
-              Observe and act as required to prevent / reduce material shortages
-              Initiate, transmit and control purchase orders
-              Control, schedule and rescheduling of order confirmation
-              Active supervision of PO scheduling
-              Managing of sales delivery request for stock and non-stocked items
-              IDOC control for goods receipt
-              Sub-contractor management – purchasing and sub-contractor stock
-              Responsible and manage the material flow to Israel warehouse
-              Maintaining and improving the processes, striving for continuous improvement !


  • Preferred a professional education in industrial business management or similar to this
  • Further education on material management recommended
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience - Must
  • Long time experiences in SAP materials management - Must
  • Experiences in managing of purchase to pay processes
  • Experiences in using of analytical procedures to optimize inventory
  • Experiences working in global corporate – Advantage
  • Excel – Full working proficiency – Must
  • Experiences in planning tools - Must
  • English fluently - Must
