Eaton’s Hydraulics is currently seeking an Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position is based in Mountain Home, AR.
The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of the site leadership team this role will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans.  The Mountain Home plant typically is inclusive of 250-350 hourly employees and 30-50 salary employees.
Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Must have the ability to diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gap, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training.  Ensure organization practices align with Eaton Philosophy.

  • You will assure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Provide coaching and consulting to business frontrunners on effective performance management intervention
  • You will advocate employee communications processes that inform employees as well as to assure two way communications between employees and management.
  • You will provide guidance and direction to business frontrunners on human resource management policies, coaching and counseling processes and internal systems.
  • You will manage training and development processes to facilitate employee development.
  • You will assure that the business has in place processes that comply with country legal requirements in the areas of employment and employment administration.
  • You will administer compensation programs to assure strong pay practices through systems that strive to reward higher employee performance.
  • You will drive positive employee relations and employee engagement.
  • You will develop talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs. Coach others on how to engage and retain key talent, identify when there is a retention risk and differentiate between wanted and unwanted turnover

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources
  • Minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers’ compensation and labor law.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Preference for a Master’s degree in human resources or an MBA with a human resources concentration.
Position Criteria:
  • Represent the Mountain Home, AR facility in community activities.  Administer local charitable contributions, including United Way. Conduct, coordinate and monitor employee community involvement meetings and programs.
  • Represent the Company’s programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCP.
  • Develop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policy.
  • Monitors all programs to insure compliance with all local, state and federal labor laws, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, FCRA, and WARN as applicable.
Develop, implement and manage plant wide committees including but not limited to Inclusion & Diversity, Rewards & Recognition, Community Involvement, and Wellness
