Primary Purpose of Job:
Responsible for the administration of employee discipline or grievance procedures. Monitor the company or workforce adherence to labor agreements. Administers programs to promote industrial peace and harmony within the organization. Monitors regulations related to industrial relations and employment.
Arranges, coordinates and monitors work of HR-related third-party service providers such as janitorial services, etc.
- Performs the following functions in relation to the imposition of disciplinary action relative to employees’ violation of the provisions of the company’s Code of Discipline:
Set up of schedules of administrative hearings and notification of those concerned; Preparation and delivery of the invitation for administrative hearing to employee concerned
Preparation and serving of letter containing disciplinary action to be imposed on employees who have failed to attend the administrative hearing for forfeiture of right to be heard or to those found guilty of offenses warranting corresponding penalty.
Filing of records related to disciplinary action and ensuring the inclusion of records on disciplinary action in individual employee 201 files.
Prepares summary reports on industrial relations activities with particular emphasis on disciplinary actions taken against erring employees; Develops, tracks, maintains, and provides analysis of metrics for industrial relation reports.
Addresses issues related to complaints on illegal dismissal, supports management representative at labor relations hearings and provides the company’s position through documents and witness coordination.
Monitors company compliance with applicable labor laws per the Philippine Labor Code as they apply to the company’s manpower complement.
Monitors issuances on new guidelines related to labor / industrial relations as issued by government regulatory agencies and disseminates information to all concerned.
Participates in the development, modification, or update of company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to industrial relations.
Responds to employee inquiries on the basic interpretation of articles and provisions in the code of discipline, human resource policies and other employee and industrial relations activities.
Serves as the complaint channel for employee grievances and coordinates grievance procedures in cases of employee complaints against their colleagues.
Receives and records incoming communication and documents; dispatches outgoing communication and documents.
Acts as satellite document custodian and controller in the department; Undertakes receipt and distribution of documents related to departmental operations.
Files documents and records according to established classifications; Keeps updated files with particular emphasis on the maintenance of confidentiality of classified information.
Maintain system and offline databases related to employees’ masterlist, statistics, demographics and HR information data
Support in the required written reports to:
- Issuance and distribution of Administrative Letters related to the due process.
- Conduct of fact-finding inquiry and investigation as to circumstances related to the reported infraction upon receipt of the reply to the Administrative Letter/s and validating findings against the provisions of the Code of Discipline.
Support HR Leadership in analyzing data on-hand to help improve HR services, programs, engagement and communication activities.
Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by superiors from time to time.

- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in Employee/Industrial Relations and related office management.
- College graduate, preferably BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Management or related courses.
- Preferably with experience in Human Resource Information System such as PeopleSoft.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
