The primary function of the Warehouse Kitting Supervisor is to ensure efficient and effective kitting operations by on-time and accurate picking and issuance of materials to production according to standard operating procedures.
Responsible for warehouse routine area management, process, operations, development, process implementation and compliance..
Effective communication with relevant departments and coordination to ensure the smooth operations of the warehouse kitting operations.
Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Move inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfer with related departments and ensuring transaction in the system is accurate.
Deliver supplies and materials to departments by ensuring kitting and issuance of materials processes are within the standard set.
Keep warehouse infrastructure and equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance.
Ensure safe work practices, drive the culture of zero accident and implement safety improvement and lean initiatives in the warehouse.
Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, leadership attributes and encourages continuous improvement.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for subordinate employees to achieve high performance teams and increase employee engagement.
- Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities. Measure, track and monitor all assigned KPI’s
- Warehouse organization, layout and capacity management. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment as well as any point-of-use inventory storage areas.
At least college graduate
At least 2 years’ experience in supervisory
Computer literate (MS Office)
Knowledge in Warehouse or Manufacturing operations
Knowledge in SAP and/or any Warehouse Inventory Management Systems
Experience in management of 3rd party providers, including experience working with freight forwarders/carrier is a plus
