Eaton Corporation’s North America Electrical Sales Division has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer. The position is located in Fenton, MO.

The primary function is to serve as technical liaison between the plants, product lines and the customer during the execution of a project.

•You will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers in assigned territory. 
•You will use Bid Manager for product configuration, changes and pricing required for technical support of orders. 
•You will meet expectations per Service Level Agreement. 
•You will apply standard work, error proofing, and product and application knowledge to drive continuous improvement. 
•You will interpret customer plans and specifications to provide accurate information on project orders. 
•You will be part of continuous learning of products and applications related to engineered products. 
•You will provide technical support for warranty issues. 
•You will perform all other duties as required by leadership.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience within the electrical industry
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications


·       Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Position Success Criteria:


  • Proficient in Tools and Applications required for job function (Bid Manager, CQM, etc).
  • Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Basic electrical product and application knowledge.
  • Proficient in creative problem solving, conflict resolution and managing priorities.
