Job Description

 

·       Achieve sales based on allocated target while keeping margin targets in line with companies expectations (Hunter Profile)

·       Develop and implement strategies to grow allocated target Segments

·       Prepare monthly forecasts, reports and other documentation as required by Management

·       Implement and keep the Sales CRM Flat File up to date (sales calls, opportunities etc.)

·       Must be proficient in the use the Microsoft Office suit

·       Must be able to do technical and product presentations to customers

·       Should display a high level of commercial and contract knowledge

·       Should conduct site visits and be able to advise customers on technical solutions for their requirements

·       Follow the sales process through from pre-sales stage to project completion

·       Sound relationships with market influencers (eg. Consulting engineers, Contractors, End-Users and Lighting houses)

 

Qualifications

 

·       +5 years’ experience in the LED Lighting Solutions arena

·       Electrical qualification will be advantageous

·       Knowledge of the electrical, automation, lighting and energy efficiency markets

·       In-depth knowledge of both applications and manufacturing standards

·       Extensive experience with all aspects of customer relationship management, project management, installation and commissioning

·       Must be able to read and understand lighting designs

·       Knowledge of the local market (consulting engineers, architects, contractors and lighting houses)

·       Experience with selling into Southern Africa

·       Presentation skills, public speaking

·       Good commercial and Contract knowledge

·       Willingness to travel locally and outside of South Africa if needed
