Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical System and Services Group is seeking a full Receiver to join our team.   This position will be working at the Edmonton facility on day shift. 

 

Under the general direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position primarily ensures that all incoming materials are received, recorded and delivered to the appropriate location.

  • You will inspect and confirm incoming goods against purchase orders and/or shipping documents.
  • You will verify data and resolve problems regarding receiving/delivering inbound shipments.
  • You will resolve incoming material discrepancies with various members of the Supply Chain team.
  • You will update stock locations in Oracle of incoming good received.
  • You will deliver materials to their correct locations through the use of a fork truck and/or crane.
  • You will  load and off-load trailers and couriers.
  • You will conduct inspections and update our supplier evaluation (WISPER) system. This may be include issuing a Defective Material Reports against suppliers.
  • You will participate in Eaton’s Environmental Health and Safety program (MESH).
  • You will monitor supplier quality performance (on time delivery), defective material.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 km of Edmonton to be considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education required from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift / overhead crane experience or certification
  • Great communication skills as this position will interact with many facets of the organization
