Eaton Corporate is currently seeking a Manager, Business Development and Strategy to join our team! This position is based at our Cleveland, OH facility.
The Manager, Business Development and Strategy is responsible for the evaluation of business development opportunities, coordination of competitive assessments, and the development of executive presentations for the Industrial Sector of Eaton’s operations.
In this role, you will conduct strategic planning, oversee competitive analysis, create presentations for the Board of Directors, oversee acquisition pipeline development, conduct market analysis, alliance project management, and prepare monthly and quarterly senior management presentations.

You will analyze market drivers, competitors, and value propositions to develop forward-looking insights to efficiently drive management decisions and improve financial results.
You will perform market, competitive, and financial analyses and leverage knowledge of legal and governmental compliance issues to drive success.
You will function as liaison with divisional operations and support personnel, develop and nurture collaborative relationships with executives and other managers.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must include:
3 years of experience must involve (experience can be gained concurrently):
Leveraging personal expertise to influence business/operational leaders in a matrixed organization in order to achieve decision making consensus;
Demonstrated competency in using time management principles to ensure effective support of multiple complex projects across multiple businesses;
Using sound financial techniques to quickly assess acquisitions and other investments in order to communicate and validate areas of synergy, key risks, and value detractors ;
Ability to understand, grasp, and communicate complex Engineering technologies to apply to Industrial applications;
2 years of experience must involve (experience can be gained concurrently):
Optimizing business proposals; and
Identifying adjacent markets and proposing plans to serve new markets with existing product portfolios.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
