Eaton’s Lighting Division is seeking a Digital Experience Director.  This position will be based in either our Peachtree City, GA or Atlanta, GA facility. 
 
Position Overview:
On our journey to expand from world-class lighting and control products to also include connected lighting solutions, we are changing how we engage with customers, the value of the problems we solve and evolving how they interact with us through services and applications.  You will Lead our next generation digital strategy that successfully enables our sales, marketing, services, and operations teams from first customer engagement to order fulfillment across all channels.  You will focus on developing and maintaining interactive tools in the form of mobile apps, websites, customer solutions, business applications and other digital platforms that ensure best customer experience and help achieve business revenue and profit growth plans.
You will lead and connect the design and delivery of digital functionality that maximizes customer satisfaction, increases revenue, and enhances Eaton Lighting brands. This person leads a team of developers and support personnel, as well as an even larger cross-functional team supported by sector and corporate functions.  Additionally, you will be gathering and prioritizing customer and business needs and working closely with business leaders, product marketing, information technology, engineering, field sales, agents and customer support.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with business leaders, functional support and IT stakeholders on formulation and execution of digital strategy, vision, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with commercialization and product management to incorporate the digital customer experience requirements into the overall content and message delivering a world-class customer experience and positive feedback
  • Assists the teams responsible for Master Data Management, Configuration, E-Commerce, Customer Solutions, Pricing, Order management, and the website ensuring data syndication with consistent, accurate, accessible product-specific content at all times.
  • Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the e-commerce business including, revenue, margin, business planning content strategy and development, promotional campaigns, SEO optimization, analytics and web technologies
  • Responsible for the user experience of the website, applications, including navigation, promotional campaigns, video analysis, content development, transactional capabilities, and enrichment with usability and customer journey mapping/tracking.
  • Responsible for all catalog number level product content, and using data must determine what content will drive conversion and the tone and details that are shared for each customer segmentation
  • Ensure business systems are operational to support quote, order and real-time information availability for transactional requests
  • Revenue and support cost responsibility for the online channel (Commercial and Industrial, Retail, online only, all customer types)
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA, and execution of content across the websites, online marketing campaigns including social media integration, to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into various projects and support to include product availability, pricing, customer service, fulfillment, inventory, returns, and e-commerce.
  • Coordinate with product development and marketing teams to ensure system design information and metadata is utilized to reduce site commissioning of systems and improve the end customer experience.
  • Word class communicator, capable of developing and delivering proposals, updates, and content for senior executives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital systems, IT, software architecture, or product management
  • Minimum of 8 years of leading high-performing teams of with at least ten employees
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Peachtree City or Atlanta will be considered for this position.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree or MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with both B2C and B2B strongly preferred
  • Systems experience (ERP systems [SAP, Oracle], Web, [HTML5], enterprise software )

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Lighting industry, agency model and our Go To Market strategy
  • Highly effective management of people skills, talent selection and recruitment in a project-driven or service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and leadership skills required
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload
  • Travel requirements: up to 10%
