This critical role is the finance functional leader for Eaton Vehicle APAC, responsible for accounting, compliance & controls, financial planning, forecasting & analysis and functional excellence. He / she will also operate as a key business partner to support regional presidents to deliver the financial commitment, strategic development, BD initiatives. The person will ensure the compliance on both finance policy and internal control, as well as managing, directing, organizing, and controlling financial activity for the region. Specifically, to protect the assets the corporation has assigned to this region and provides operations management with financial guidance necessary to produce the expected return on those assets. Manage operations finance processes as well as credit, collections, and risk management for region. Build finance function’s capabilities, inspires team to achieve high performance and develops strong financial leadership throughout the region.






  • As business partner to regional presidents, support region to deliver financial commitment. Working with regional teams and country GMs to identify the opportunity and risk, developing mitigation plan for any headwinds.

  • Attract, select, direct and motivate professionals that consistently apply generally accepted accounting principles, and who continuously strive to strengthen the overall profitability of the business. Provide leadership and direction for finance function as member of Group Finance Leadership team. Responsible for Region Finance OCA & succession plans. Ensures adequate finance bench strength in place to meet current and future business needs. Manages resources effectively.

  • Direct the regular financial processes for the operation including month-end closing, monthly financial forecast, profit plan and strategic plan, including reporting and analysis of results. Ensure accurate and challenging plans and forecasts are submitted, with comprehensive analysis of significant variances to enable the discovery of the root cause and enable appropriate decision making and corrective action.

  • Conducts balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy of stated balances and review account reconciliations. Ensure maintenance of proper accruals and reserves. Analyze operating results and balance sheet elements to determine and recommend profit and/or cash flow improvement opportunities.

  • Assure the existence and competency of financial systems and procedures to comply with GAAP and corporate policies and procedures to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley documentation as appropriate, throughout entire region.

  • Review, approve and / or recommend course of action on capital investment decisions. Provide in-depth analysis on investment financial return. Optimize manufacturing footprint and improve product cost competitiveness through strategic localization and cost-out investment.

  • Managing the working capital in the region, maximize working capital efficiency including AR/AP/Inventory. Partnering with operations on inventory turnover effectiveness, overseeing cash collection activities and payment under GFSS, ensure GFSS provide adequate support to commercial and SCM team as they expected, and deliver AR and AP target set by business.  

  • Understand market intelligence, lead commercial financial analysis for strategic growth initiative deployment in the region, support product portfolio management with solid analysis.

  • Provide financial support to strategic business development projects including eMobility.

  • Provide direction to location controllers in the appropriate implementation of standard cost revisions and the setting of transfer prices to other Eaton locations.

  • Reviews and approves physical inventory results, burden rate reviews and annual standard cost changes.

  • Demonstrates financial leadership to help drive through Group and corporate initiatives and ensure they are enhancing financial performance of the operations.

  • Protects assets and interests of Eaton Corporation, which includes actively hedging the region’s non-functional currency exposures.

  • Provides external benchmark analysis for financial performance as well as administrative and operational process efficiency. Implement best practices across the finance function.

  • In charge of all financial related responsibilities for all Vehicle business including eMobility.

  • Overseeing JV financial operation, ensure JV controller provide regular reporting to GMs, meeting Eaton compliance requirement both Statuary and US GAAP.




If you are:

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or (or equivalent)/MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience including 8-10 years in a manufacturing environment, 5-8 years supervisory experience with at least 2 years of multi-site/countries financial leadership.

  • Multi-national company (American or Europe) and regional leadership experience is a plus.

  • Proven managerial capability.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to operate across, and influence within, a complex matrixed global organizational structure.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts.

  • Pronouncements of external regulatory bodies.

  • International experience across financial disciplines, i.e., tax strategies, transfer pricing, currency hedging, statutory reporting, legal entity implications, etc.

  • Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operations analyses/reports.

  • Broad general business knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems.

  • General knowledge of all functional areas of the Group, Sector and Corporate organizations.

  • Working knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing practices followed by Operations personnel.

  • Creates, promotes and sustains a high performance culture. Continuously raises the performance bar for the finance organization.
