Project Administrator
Working as part of the Projects Team your role will include:
Overview
Support in all aspects of project administration and co-ordination with the project managers, project engineers and commissioning team. Liaise with customer service to pass all orders with commissioning in to the projects team in order that they are resourced, scheduled and completed in a timely and efficient manner.  Managing the projects tracker will be key, producing weekly reports for the project manager and attending pulse meetings.
  • Work with Production to understand lead times, processing of custom solutions.
  • Track project progress, prepare weekly reports, update programme and works schedules.
  • Assist Field Service in planning engineer’s site visits for maintenance and commissioning.
  • Support Project engineers so they can effectively manage projects on site.
  • Track maintenance contracts retaining existing customers and making new contract opportunities as systems reach the end of the warranty period.
 

Qualifications

The candidate should have:
  • Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel Outlook.
  • High levels of organisation and be able to prioritise.
  • Good customer facing skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure without losing focus.
  • Good communication skills written and verbal.
  • A demonstrable ability to manipulate data using Microsoft Excel, pivot data and create reports.
  • Be able to read technical/construction drawings to a reasonable level and to mark up and annotate with Adobe/PDF editor – desirable but not essential.
  • Have an understanding of document control.
  • Be highly organised with the ability to self-manage work load.
Other aspects of the role:
  • Track commissioning costs of projects.
  • Variations – liaise with sales support to generate quotes as required.
  • Supporting project manages in the production of all documentation including:
    • Pre-commissioning check list.
    • Risk assessments and method statements
    • Electrical Schematics where required.
    • Schedules, description of operations and technical submittals
    • Completion certificates.
    • O&M manuals.
