Eaton Graduate Leadership Development Program

In Sales and Marketing multiple locations (start in Hungary, Budapest)

Expand your experience, gain global exposure, develop leadership competencies and gain knowledge of Eaton’s business, products, processes and functions with Eaton’s Graduate Leadership Development Program in Sales and Marketing area. The program will help the participant develop a wide range of Eaton leadership competencies such as business strategy, business acumen and leveraging resources.


Program structure:

  • As a participant in the program, you will complete two 1 year assignments that will give you the hands-on experience. These assignments might include working in digital marketing, product marketing, inside sales support in the electrical sector of Eaton. Participants will need to relocate for the second assignment

  • Leadership Exposure: Participants will have a high level of interaction with Eaton Leadership.

  • You will also be expected to work with other participants in the program on projects outside of your assigned location.

  • In the first assignment you will be located in Budapest in the role of Digital Analyst. You will be part of the Commercial Operations & Technology team works with and supports the business unit, country marketing and sales and central marketing/commercial operations & technology teams in EMEA to realize Eaton’s Electrical Sector growth plans in the region. Your key responsibilities are

    • Leading Eaton’s website channel management. 

      • Supporting full EMEA migration onto, redirection of existing web properties, ensuring that EMEA digital estate is fully optimized for user experience and that efficient publishing, development and reporting processes are both in place and processes continuously optimized

        • Work to support country site migration processes including answering support questions and assisting in the removal of barriers to progress

        • Works with site owners to ensure that is optimized and continually updated taking account of buyer journeys, UX, visitor engagement and search visibility

        • Expert on the content and publishing architecture of, including all integrations with up and downstream applications

        • Utilise and enhance web dashboards to provide analysis and recommendations for ongoing site optimisation

        • Work with country marketing leads to ensure that they keep their site up to date and relevant

        • Train authors on how to use publishing processes, optimize content and consider user and customer experience across key channels

        • Work with internal publishing resources to ensure EMEA publishing workloads are prioritized appropriately, escalations are dealt with effectively and processes are continuously optimized.

  • After successful completion of the program, your experience and newly acquired skills could qualify you for roles such as field sales/commercial sales representative,  sales and marketing commercial positions, product management



  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business and/or engineering

  • Study, work or internship experience within Marketing, Sales or technical  is a plus (max 3 years of experience) and strong desire to achieve results

  • Leadership aptitude and/or demonstrated leadership experience within university or community

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and at least 1 other European language

  • Geographically flexible, mobile

  • Self-motivated and a Desire to build a career in areas  of  Sales, Marketing,  Product Management

  • Nice to have: Web publishing expertise (HTML, XML, JS, CSS)

  • Nice to have: Understanding of web analytics
