Eaton’s Electrical Products Group is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! This position is based at our Ellisville, MO site.

 

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating policies and programs covering the following:  Employment, Employee Relations, Wage and Salary administration, Training & Development, Insurance and Health benefits, Employee Services HR Program/Project Management and Change Management.

  • You will direct all employment and recruiting including interviews and selection for  salaried team members for the marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, and for the division staff in coordination with the corporate recruiting team.
  • You will provide coaching for all assigned business partners/managers and supervisors in the area of performance management, including motivating, counseling, and developing direct and indirect reports.
  • You will create outreach programs directed toward technical talent inside of the St. Louis market with a focus for diversity and inclusion.
  • You will provide examination and coordination in areas of Human Resources including compensation, benefits, labor relations, employment law, health and safety, workers’ compensation, organizational development, performance management, training and recruiting.
  • You will serve as an HR Business partner on site committees supporting including managing the annual budget, evaluating contributions, planning calendar of events, and encouraging employee participation.
  • You will perform special projects as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
  • You will coordinate with the HR Plant Lead Generalist in the training needs assessment and training program coordination for salaried and hourly employees.
  • You will prepare annual Affirmative Action Plan.
  • You will prepare and submits corporate and / or government-required reports relating to employment and employment practices.
  • You will coordinate the process of accurate job descriptions.  This includes creating new job descriptions as well as updating existing job descriptions.
  • You will manage the Benefit enrollment process including the wellness initiatives at the facility.
  • You will facilitate the division wide leadership development program in coordination with the corporate LDP process, while enhancing local recruitment through local universities, diversity groups, and technical talent.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered. Only candidates who reside within a 50 mile radius of Ellisville, MO will be considered.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations Management, or related field; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred. Broad knowledge of employment, organizational training and development, employee relations, and strong data analysis.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, being able to recognize and support the organization’s business objectives and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills that foster positive employee relations and morale.  Ability to effectively develop and implement communicate policy and programs.
