Eaton’s Hydraulic  Fluid Conveyance Division is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to join our team. The position will be based at our Van Wert, OH facility.
 
The Senior Facilities Engineer is responsible for providing engineering guidance for functions within the Facilities Engineering group. These include planning, organizing, and guide projects through execution. Also their day-to-day functions include maintenance of HVAC, make-up air, exhaust systems, lift truck fleet, security systems, and other assigned responsibilities.

  • You will support and assist in development of strategic initiative planning, including financial budgeting.
  • You will support projects in the development of scope of work, project plan, budget, and organization of execution of project. Projects will be led and executed.
  • You will Work in conjunction with Manufacturing, Maintenance and/or service contractors in resolution of facility problems and projects.
  • You will assist in establishment of strategic direction projects, including development of expense and capital planning.
  • You will support the maintenance and development for facility operations.
  • You will support and train discipline centered on troubleshooting/testing that guides to problem solutions.
  • You will support and mentor other engineers in engineering disciplines; such as project planning.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 years’ experience in facilities engineering field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various engineering disciplines such as HVAC systems, project planning and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to support and motivate a teams in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering standards and practices. 
Position Success Criteria:
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
