Eaton’s Fluid & Electrical Distribution Division is currently seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Glenolden, PA facility.
The primary function of the Quality Technician is to perform AS9102 First Articles, Internal Audits, Corrective Actions and other duties as assigned.

  • You will be responsible for inspecting products and processes to ensure conformance with quality standards and specifications.
  • You will apply advanced inspection techniques to validate geometric dimensioning (GD&T) as stated in AMSE Y14.5 using height gage, indicators, sine bar and a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). 
  • You will perform customer specific and AS9102 first article inspections.
  • You will perform product acceptance inspections per specific customer vendor release programs. 
  • You will assist in root cause inquiry and corrective actions using the 8D methodology.
  • You will participate in Material Review Board activities to control nonconforming material. 
  • You will perform internal quality system assessments, product and process audits.  Participates in Gage Measure System Analysis and process capability studies.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in manufacturing or quality
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints
  • Ability to use precision mechanical measurement equipment (calipers, depth gauge, micrometers, pin gauges). 
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • No relocation is offered with this position, candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • GD&T experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards (AS9100, ISO9000)
