As Sales Manager for Italy you will direct and manage the activities of the Italian region towards achieving sales, profit and growth goals.

Your key deliverables:
• Responsibility for planning, organizing and implementing sales programs based on a long term regional growth and sales strategy 
• Sales visits to end users, OEM’s, distributors and customers to present and demonstrate Eaton Crouse-Hinds (CEAG) products
• Developing and maintaining profitable customer relationships
• Work closely and manage the EPC’s within Italy to gain product specification
• Take project responsibility for orders placed outside of Italy and coordinate with the regional sales teams to ensure successful completion of these projects (APAC, ME, US) 
• Proactive presence on a regular basis across the Italian region with customers 
• Technical and application support to the customers and distributors
• Provide market information for pricing models and competitor awareness 
• Managing leads / opportunity pipeline and negotiating of quotations
• Dealing with the order follow up process: coordinating contacts, updating documentation, working with colleagues in supply chain management functions on deliveries
• Focus in developing new customer business opportunities


• University degree, preferably electrical or electronic engineering
• Technical education or comparable education
• Minimum of 5-7 years sales experience in an industrial environment
• Fluent in English 
• Experience in explosion proof markets or comparable markets/industries
• Travel requirement minimum 50%
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to identify and manage priorities  
• Well-developed presentation skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills
• Capability of self-organization and to work effectively in a large matrix organization
• Ability to work alone and to be self-motivated
