Job Description

An opportunity for a Business Services Administrator has become available at our Rowville site. Reporting to the HR Manager, Industrial Sector you will be responsible for a range of activities that provide administrative support to all the business units; Vehicle, Hydraulic & Electrical divisions.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, customers and suppliers to Eaton Industries and monitor incoming calls, distribution of mail and telephone messages
  • Assist HRBP in the coordination and production of communications, events and inclusion and diversity initiatives to drive the employee experience
  • Responsible for coordinating communication material and visual content across a variety of audiences and platforms, eg: local intranet websites, editorial for local employee newsletter
  • Assist the OPEX team in facility management eg: security, cleaners, and gardening contractors.
  • Assist the OPEX team with corporate security procedures eg: OH&S procedures, activating emergency alarms, warnings and testing.
  • Responsible for the coordination of accommodation and transport transfers for overseas visitors.
  • Using the Oracle ERP software, provide data entry assistance to the Warranty and Customer Service departments for the Vehicle Group.
  • Provide administration assistance with filing, scanning, printing, binding, and laminating documents and general typing of reports and correspondence.


Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • You will have experience and enjoy working in busy professional environment and ideally with a multinational.  A Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar will be well regarded.
  • Organisational skills to effectively communicate and successfully prioritise a large volume of work under tight timeframes.
  • proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products eg: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point and Access.  Experience with Oracle ERP software will be held in high regard.
  • Strong initiative, communication skills  and the ability and passion to learn new tasks and processes
  • professionally presented and exceptional phone manner
  • accurate, timely and attention to detail
  • ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team
  • a positive attitude and very reliable work ethic
