Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Division, a part of the Electrical Secotr, is currently seeking a Sales Service Representative in Order Management to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse, NY facility.
 
The Sales Service Representative – Order Management is responsible for providing technical sales support, order status, and price information on Eaton Crouse-Hinds products. In this role, you will be the liaison to distributors, contractors, end users, field sales organization, and internal customers to help ensure that orders objectives for the company are met.

  • You will serve as the initial escalation point for transaction processing and order management representatives regarding issue resolution.
  • You will serve as the subject matter expert and key contact point for both front-end and back-end order management while using SAP and/or warehouse management system interfaces.
  • You will drive quality and customer service for assigned regions, accountable for metrics related to Order Management, EDI orders, Quotes, Returns etc.
  • You will perform query management/resolution/root cause mitigation on all queries and provide recommendation on how to mitigate future issues and improve overall customer service.
  • You will implement Total Quality Concept with Eaton Crouse-Hinds Sales/Service to effectively accomplish departmental goals of satisfying customer’s need and continuous improvement.
  • You will establish and maintain distributor, end user, other Eaton Crouse-Hinds divisions and field sales confidence and enhance Eaton Crouse-Hinds’ image by developing a trusting, reliable relationship through quality customer service.
  • You will identify and act upon opportunities for orders and specifications to satisfy customers and communicate information to field sales to help maximize orders.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
 
 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer facing role
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Syracuse, NY will be considered.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. 
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering Management from an accredited institution
  • Experience with SAP and SharePoint
  • Prior experience in an analytical role in a manufacturing environment
  • Project Management experience
