Eaton’s Corporate division is currently seeking a AP Banking Accountant to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro Office.
The AP Banking Accountant  is responsible to perform the Bank Payments for Vendors, Taxes and Payroll for OU 0335, OU 0146, OU 0148, OU 0149, OU 0233, OU 0334, OU 0358, OU 4083, OU 4099, OU4260, OU 4158, and OU 0233.

Some activities related with the position will be:
  1. Perform Customs tax payment
  2. Perform Bank Disbursements to Vendors in timely manner according schedule 
  3. Reconcile Payments against Bank Statement on daily basis in order to ensure they were successful.
  4. Provide evidence of Bank Disbursements to the Local teams
  5. Attend Column Case ensuring to solve all the cases in next 24 Hours.
  6. EFT and Wire returns
  7. Perform RSD reports
  8. Perform BSR ( Balance sheet Reviews / Account Reconciliations)
  9. Analyzes invoice problems, determines root cause and recommends solutions
  10. Coordinates problem resolutions between the Banks, SSC and Operations
  11. Prepares metric analysis and reporting
  12. Addresses escalated payments issues and leads activities to resolve vendor payments concerns
  13. Participates in continuous improvements and project work to drive functional excellence
  14. Completes payment process special handling requests
  15. Develops and documents new processes and improvements
  16. Functions well in a team environment

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  1. Capabilities in Accounts Payable and financial accounting, 1 - 2 years of experience in similar position. University Degree desirable.
  2. Communication skills and team work capability.
  3. Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems , preferable Oracle & SAP
  4. Basic knowledge of the English language.
  5. Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision
  6. Knowledgeable in accounting 
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working in around the globe
  2. Potential to be promoted within next 3-5 years
  3. Ability to join Eaton within 15 days of offer
