Eaton’s Fluid Conveyance Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Mountain Home, Arkansas facility.
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the management of projects, repairs, and improvements pertaining to Facility and outside grounds.  Additionally, support interaction with maintenance contractors ATS support for new equipment. Responsible for leading/supporting in a teaming environment.  Support and manage Manufacturing Engineering projects.   Responsibilities across the plant including the following activities: cost reduction / cost out projects, cost estimating, developing and maintaining production standards and standard work.  Coordination of the capital spending, administrate, manage, and oversee capital projects.

  • You will support continuous improvements in quality, productivity and delivery performance through the deployment of continuous improvement framework.
  • You will support Environmental Health and Safety projects to promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture. You will gather and analyze information in order to develop and implement action plans to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • You will complete all assigned projects in support of division, plant, and project objectives.                                                                                                              
  • You will control manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities to meet Federal and State Regulations.
  • You will implement required industrialization methods, tooling and equipment into the manufacturing operation.
  • You will develop approaches to solving problems in processes, tooling, equipment, facilities and cost.
  • You will track expenses and capital expenditures within planned budgets. You will implement cost reductions to meet or exceed departmental and plant goals.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum 1 year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Experience in equipment, tooling, fixturing design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or ProE.
  • PLC and HMI programming and interface experience.
