Job Description

Eaton’s Power Delivery Division is seeking a Team B – Small Assembly – 1st Shift. This role is based at our Waukesha (Badger Drive), WI location.
 
The Small Assembly team member is responsible for the production of all types of Transformers in a continuous flow environment to meet the agreed upon customer requirements. This position will be responsible for the internal assembly, drying and filling of all types of Transformers.  This position is also responsible for performing the various job functions as described in the job description at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality. Operators must be willing to perform various duties and assist all other team members as needed to meet Takt Time of Transformers through the continuous flow line.

  • You will perform visual inspections of the vacuum bell from previous stations to identify operational defects and will also make electrical connections for drying cycle per engineering instructions.
  • You will perform resistance testing and make electrical connections per the Engineering Reference Drawing, on a pass fail criteria, and make minor adjustments to unit as needed.
  • You will complete internal transformer assembly including the final connection to high and low voltage bushings as directed on the OPS.
  • You will complete sinking and installation of internal hardware.
  • You will install thermo couples used in the vacuum bell process.
  • You will complete internal transformer assembly including the lead training for the fuses and intern arrestors as directed.
  • You will teardown, repair and modify the customer supplied equipment as direct.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED form an accredited institution is required. 
  • Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • Relocation benefits not included. Only candidates living within 50 miles of Waukesha WI will be considered.
