Eaton’s B-Line business is currently looking for a Customer Service Supervisor in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

The Customer Service Supervisor will provide world class customer support to both internal and external customers while maintaining complete awareness of all matters affecting a defined region of customers. 


The incumbent will be responsible for supervision of all customer service department activities, which include giving order delivery dates, return permit initiation, order maintenance, stocking product, order edit and entry, providing basic product pricing, responding to field inquiries re-stock status, shipping information and follow-up of debit memos. They also must follow all internal policies and procedures to help meet company goals for revenue growth and profitability.

•You will coordinate activities of  the department in receiving customer requests for deliveries, communicating with production planning, expediting orders and providing customer with prompt and accurate response. 
• You will be responsible for advising customers of stock status providing basic pricing and product information and supplying shipping information details. 
• You will oversee the issuance of return material authorization including ensuring that departmental personnel communicate with appropriate personnel concerning approvals, etc. 
• You will coordinate the effort of the group and serve as spokesperson in communications with customer service. 
• You will have responsibility to offer customer substitution product when possible and necessary. 
• You will coordinate the activities of the department in providing customers with return permits after soliciting and analyzing pertinent facts.

• You will monitor procedures on an on-going basis to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Three-year college diploma from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 80 kilometres of Mississauga, ON, Canada facility will be considered 
 

Preferred Qualifications:

 
• Four-year University degree from an accredited institution 

• Experience with change management
• Knowledge of B-Line Products 
• Background in Manufacturing or Distribution
• Bilingual in English and French
• Experience with electrical, mechanical or datacom channels to market and familiarity with selling through manufacturer’s representative, distribution, or factory direct sales forces

• SAP, CRM and Call Center Management software experience
