Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering and Maintenance Manager in Guaratinguetá, São Paulo.
He/She will be responsible for:
 
  • Maintain the efficacy and the stability of the manufacturing flow for the plant operations through preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Develop plan to increase machine capability and the MTBF and decrease MTTR and cost of non-compliance;
  • Forecast resources (headcount, budget, Capex, software/hardware) needed to implement and run maintenance processes, new machines layouts of productive lines and increase productivity.
  • Support Profit Plan / Strategic Plan.
  • Execute, design and support the production of new prototypes, set the process flow, tooling design used in the process, develop machine parameters and develop MRO used in the manufacture of our products.
  • Manage maintenance and engineering knowledge, including training and evaluations plans required.
  • Assure HR procedures to be fulfilled (such as performance evaluations, performance calibrations, etc). Manage teams knowledge, including training and evaluations plans required to run processes accordingly.
  • Drive continuous improvement through CIF process.
  • Provide a safe working environment by providing tools and equipment that comply with legal requirements and MESH requirements.
  • Coordinate projects and production programs in support of divisional and plant objectives. Manage improvement efforts using Eaton tools such as EBS, ELS, EQS, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Maintain a high engagement level within all departments and maintain a work environment in accordance with Eaton Philosophy & Work Practices.
  • Responsible for a team of 15 employees from Maintenance and Industrial Eng. areas, reporting directly to Industrial Eng. and Quality Manager.

Qualifications

Experience Required:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and correlatives.
  • Experience in managing manufacturing Maintenance area, predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience in leading Process Engineer area.
  • Experience in People Management
  • Advanced English – mandatory.
  • Availability to live in Guaratinguetá.
 
 
Desired/preferred Education and Knowledge:
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience implementing TPM
