Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs  -  Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE. SMC provides diverse opportunities and platform to accelerate individual careers in a challenging environment through exposure to different global and regional sales and marketing initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Documentation of requirements and signoff

  • Designing and Creation of the reports in OBIEE through Answers

  • Collaborating with IT to get required fields, facts and dimensions through ETL or new enhancements to meet the business report requirements

  • Working closely with IT for OBIEE releases

  • Testing of reports in OBIEE and giving sign offs

  • Connecting with business for data accuracy

  • Training the users on dashboards/reports

  • Working with IT for any issue resolution and Track OBIEE Service Level Agreements for issues

  • Document, track, and communicate changes

  • Change management

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

    • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in OBIEE as business analyst

    • Excellent communication skill

    • Good business understanding, financial reporting understanding

    • Basic experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) will be added advantage

    • Understanding of BI Architecture

    • Proficiency MS-Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    • Ability to work collaboratively. Good written and Verbal communications skills

    • Thorough understanding of business processes & systems

    • Reasoning ability

    • Ability to develop relationships and communicate cross-functionally

    • Must be able to solve problem independently and make decisions

    • Basic Knowledge of Databases, Business Applications and Software testing methodology

    • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques
