Eaton’s Automotive division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager - Engine Air Management to join our team. This position could be based at our San Luis Potosi, Aguascalientes, or Reynosa, MX locations.

Here’s what you will do: 
 
This position will act as the primary conduit between the business unit it supports and the SCM organization. Manage new programs from the design phase to production to meet all program timing, cost, and quality requirements.  Candidate will assist with early supplier involvement in new product introduction to meet key SCM initiatives and alignment with commodity plans of the Vehicle Group.  Candidate will also manage SCM tactical implementation of strategic initiatives.  Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, purchasing and supplier quality assurance (SQA) to develop, manufacture, and successfully launch new projects.
  • Lead and communicate program needs to commodity managers to provide pricing and capacity analysis on all Programs from Prolaunch Phase 0-4
  • Manage deliverables of team members for EAM product launches to ensure proper execution of changes and launches.
  • Participate in APQP activities for all new product launches for business segment
  • Facilitate scheduling and business unit involvement in Sourcing Councils for new product launches
  • Oversee and track supplier tooling deliverables.
  • Represent SCM function in APQP activities for all new product launches
  • Coordinate with commodity teams to ensure strategies align with strategic and profit plan.
  • Represent and lead SCM function in ProLaunch and DGC gate reviews.
  • Design for Manufacturability review and facilitation, process improvement, standardization for supply chain activities.
  • Ensure completion of negotiations with suppliers regarding price, terms, quality, tooling, transportation.
  • Coordinate the exchange of technical information regarding product and product processing with adequate safeguards for confidentiality
  • Actively participate in teams working towards continuous process improvements, elimination of waste, and advance product quality planning.

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates located within 50 miles of Aguascalientes, SLP, or Escobedo will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Prior work experience in supply chain management, program management or other strategic roles
