Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs  - Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE.  SMC provides diverse opportunities and platform to accelerate individual careers in a challenging environment through  exposure to different global and regional sales and marketing initiatives. Essential Function:

 

  • Partner with the business, sales and pricing team to conduct pricing development studies aimed to improve pricing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Manage databases and homegrown tools and identify ways to use existing data in more productive ways.

  • Possess knowledge and experience in the acquisition, analysis, and display of data; and in extraction of information and knowledge from that data in supports decision making to business leaders.

  • Work on process efficiency by automation and smart analytics to remove redundant activities in pricing operation processes.

  • Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management

  • Provide ongoing analytical support to Business Division and various levels of management in the organization related to Pricing and other issues.

  • Support in making consulting/analysis to business leaders, Finance leaders & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability, which drive sustainable change and enhanced business results.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Minimum Graduate in Mathematics, Business, Economics. MBA (Marketing) degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience – manufacturing industry exposure preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Structured approach to Problem solving

  • Business proficiency in the following areas is required:

  • Strong business acumen

  • Understanding of costing concepts and terminology

  • Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.

  • Working knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies

  • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.

  • Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Technical proficiency in following areas is required:

  • MS – Access, MS- Excel, Web-Based Tools,
