Job Description

Make advanced application of technical accounting practices and concepts representing an expanding knowledge of accounting principles. Assignments are designed to expand practical experience and to develop professional judgment in the application of basic accounting techniques.
A. Perform the closing month running the process to close production orders and variance analysis of production.
B. Perform the physical inventory and cycle counts and make the corresponding analysis of the adjustments.
C. Perform the Balance Sheet reconciliations.
D. Generate the GTM reports for Open Balance analysis.
E. Work with the Cost Accountant Jr to review and analyze the cycle counts adjustments.
F. Review and analyze the E&O inventory.
G. Participate in safety programs.
H. Participate in internal and external audits providing information.
I. Control of the Fixed Assets as well as Construction in Progress.
J. Capitalize projects and follow up to the projects compliment.


  • Bachelor degree in accounting or related financial field
  • 3-5 years experience in either a corporate or public Accounting environment
  • Cost accounting experience
  • Excellent computer skills and communication abilities
  • Should be very comfortable working in a team environment on overlapping goals.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • SAP (Desirable).
  • Process oriented with an understanding of business.
  • Understanding of budgets and cost drivers.
  • Strong communication and group presentation skills and comfort with facilitation teams / groups and working with all levels in the organization.
  • Strong leadership competencies (leveraging)
  • Proficient in MS Office toolset.
  • Ability to plan, organize and build effective teams and motivate others.
  • Ability to facilitate team sessions.
  • Highly motivated and driven for results.
