Mechanical Assembler - Lubriclone
You will work from and help maintain accuracy of work order routers, drawing specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
You will utilize machines or hand tools to thermal fit, drill & pin, lockwire, bond, crimp, stake, bolt rivet, press fit or perform similar operations to secure parts in place.
You will operate Class 1 (protected) laser marker system and is familiar with functional checks & basics of laser equipment.
You will evaluate product dimensional requirements with hand measuring tools, optical comparator, etc.
You will understand and utilize provided tooling and fixtures to accurately position parts for marking, assembly, and testing.
You will evaluate marking of parts through visual inspection and use of Verification equipment (including camera and scanner to capture, evaluate, and log 2D Matrix marks).
You will perform required Resistance, Decay, Pressure, and Sink Tests in accordance to Acceptance Test Procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Minimum one (1) year assembly experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing blueprints/drawings.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Glenolden, PA will be considered
- Minimum two (2) years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing blueprints/drawings.
- Completion of technical School
- Experience with LaserCAD
- Ability to measure parts to Aerospace standards
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. for up to 6 hours daily
- Standing daily up to a minimum of six (6) hours
- Ability to use the PPE (heat / cold)
- Will be required to be compliant with 6S
Adapts to the pace of a team flow environment and works independently with little supervision when required
Interact with LaserCad User Interface to call up and activate required programs to accomplish specified mark.
