Job Description

Business & Growth Objectives :
  1. Ownership and execution of ES – India profit plan goals for single-phase UPS business
  2. To exceed the revenue and gross margin objectives of the business
  3. To enhance market share of Eaton solutions in the respective domain
             Team Management and Grooming :
  1. Lead and drive the energetic and motivated pan-India channel account manager team for achievement of individual sales targets through the tier 2 channel base
  2. Responsible for resources planning; building organizational capability through coaching and mentoring team members along with performance management.
    Distribution Management :
  3. Ownership and management of Tier 1 Distributors’ sell-in/ sell-out sales goals. Ensure an even balance between sell-in/ sell out.
  4. Ownership of T1 Distributors and tier 2 partners’ relationship management
  5. Consistent monitoring of distributor health in terms of stock movement and business followed by quick actions if required
    Partner Management Policies & Orchestration :
  6. Deploy the framework of Power Advantage Partner Program to grow tier 2 channel revenues  - by building an active partner base of 400+ partners: through new partner recruitment and through growing existing partner revenue-base
  7. Understand the various stake-holders within channel, and be able to build sustaining relationships across these stake-holders - that translate into revenue for Eaton
  8. Eaton single-phase UPS product knowledge and application acumen, knowledge of channel buying behavior and alignment to Eaton organizational knowledge/ cross divisional strategic plans for sales growth.
    Business Strategy & Go To Market :
  9. Develop and execute an optimum Go-To-market strategy for the full portfolio of single-phase UPS solutions, with focus on IT channel penetration
  10. Arrive on Product Policy and pricing policy including product launch and competition mapping
    Marketing Initiatives Contributions :
  11. Strengthen engagement and confidence in Eaton Single Phase UPS solutions at both the tier 2 partners and T1 Distributor levels through constant interaction and leveraging key marketing organization programs including: lead-generation, channel events and SPIF’s


  • Bachelor’s Degree with Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • 12+ years’ experience in Sales, key account management, channel marketing or similar role within the industry. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in people management required.
  • In depth knowledge of Channel Buying Behavior, UPS Sales, IT Channel.
  • Strong customer relationship and account management skills
