Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager manages a team of Customer Service Representatives who play important liaison and support for account managers and multiple stakeholders. The Sales Operations Manager will manage a Sales Support team who are the primary points of contact for the Sales Team, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Plants, Logistics and other departments. The role is responsible for sales order management, sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, CRM maintenance and other sales support functions. The candidate needs to have a profound of understanding of total supply chain management. This position reports to Sales Director, CPQ Business.

 

 

Main responsibility:

 

A. Manage a successful sales support team and ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds daily sales support metrics

B. Leader for sales orders management, including order entry, customer service, and logistic arrangement

C. Drives for on-time-delivery by working with plant and operations team

D. Deep understanding of Eaton’s SAP systems and internal processes

E. Main window to coordinate delivery issues and send monitor shipping plans to meet monthly sales forecast

F. Manage CPQ customer invoicing and be main window to support finance team on customer AP/AR issues

G. Manage Taipei, Shenzhen and PHP team quality and progress of work, provide guidance and coaching to team members

H. Help monitor overall CPQ achievement against plan and recommending action plans to re-establish performance objectives in line with agreed targets

I. Sales order management role & the lead for SAP program (next phase of SAP: PHP is planning to be on Unity in 2019Q1)

J. Reporting – to support the predictability & coordination on orders & sales via reporting packages (including daily, weekly snapshots, monthly updates and SIOP)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in sales operation related experience
  • Experience in managing/supervising Sales Support teams
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively cross functions and countries
  • Ability to travel as required meeting team and department goals
