Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing order management support for the Project Operations team, including application engineering, project managers, and sales engineers. The National Operations team has a global reach,providing support for key customer bases and our project management staff. The Project Operations team's focus is developing and managing turnkey projects for government, commercial, industrial, and utility customers. In this role, you will provide Eaton Corporation’s customers and project managers with product, delivery, claims/returns, and project information. This includes managing customer orders, order entry, processing change orders, and tracking orders through to delivery. Successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate order information, validating price, entering and maintaining information in various systems, and managing strategic, large or complex accounts with an emphasis on world class customer service.

  • You will enter orders for equipment or services in multiple systems and tracking to delivery and completion.
  • You will track and reconcile project costs to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • You will proactively communicate in a timely manner with external customers about order verification, order status,pricing and shipment status. Communicates in a timely manner with operations to verify lead times, schedule customer orders according to their delivery needs and communicate special handling requests.
  • You will maintain accurate and organized order files, order acknowledgments, and customer contact information.
  • You will maintain new orders from customers, with emphasis on error-free order management. Enters changes and cancellations using established business rules.
  • You will coordinate shipments and communications critical items per orders.
  • You will process customer invoicing requests.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

- Associates degree from an accredited institution

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing orders or contract requirements and interfacing with customers

- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

- No relocation is offered. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

- Proficiency in systems software, such as Vista, Oracle, SAP, QlikView, COGNOS, Microsoft Office and various other programs.

- Experience working with government contracts.
