Eaton’s Bussmann UL Electrical division is currently seeking a Senior SIOP Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO facility.
Supporting $300+ million in sales, this position is responsible to administer SIOP process for the Bussmann UL Electrical business.  This position is responsible for the accumulation, maintenance, and analysis of forecasts and integration of the demand and supply plans for sales and operation planning presentations.  The position will administer the use of the forecasting software and determine the classification of product and safety stocks for both finished goods and raw materials.

  • You will conduct analysis of sales data and coordinate the accumulation of sales forecasts through customer and sales/marketing interaction.  Provide base forecast for sales and budget planning.
  • You will manage the production forecasting software – report forecast accuracy results and develop and execute action plans to improve forecast accuracy.
  • You will integrate demand data with inventory and supply data to support optimize customer delivery and inventory levels. 
  • You will lead monthly demand, supply, and executive review presentations with cross functional teams.
  • You will provide analysis and maintain system records related to product classifications and safety stocks in support of delivery and inventory objectives.
  • You will assist in identifying gaps in the weekly production schedules as compared to forecasted supply need and work with teams to mitigate gaps.
  • You will troubleshoot planning and scheduling reports and update/correct as necessary.  Train remote manufacturing locations on usage of critical reports.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand forecasting or SIOP/S&OP is required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, now or in the future without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Forecast Management software proficiency, such as Demand Solutions or Demantra
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales forecasting or inventory management
  • SAP and MRP Monitor experience
  • APICS CPIM certification
