Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd Shift. This position is based at our La Grange, NC facility.
 
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for work in process quality checks, validating operator conformance with requirements of quality system and set-up tech conformance with requirements of the set-up sheets. They will be responsible for checking press-to-press documentation, training records, molding standards and hourly inspection sheets.

  • You will evaluate parts and products against a given sample or blueprint and rejects parts/products that do not meet the specifications.
  • You will identify and controls parts or products that are out of specification to ensure that are not shipped to a customer.
  • You will use precision measuring equipment and test equipment.
  • You will select samples from a given sampling plan.
  • You will maintain accurate records and report findings.
  • You will move parts and equipment when required.
  • You will follow all safety rules.
  • You will complete test on product as required.
  • You will follow all environmental and waste disposal regulations.
  • You will participate in a continuous improvement team.
  • You will receive environmental training, and carry out related duties if instructed to do so by supervisor.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution .
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of La Grange, NC will be considered
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Previous experience using computers and Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
