Job Description

This position is responsible for Power Quality Division Indirect Purchases and Warranties. Review and coordinate indirect material purchases to properly operate in WTC Office and Arrow Hart DC. Mainly interacts with internal suppliers and external customers to provide feedback on the status of Warranty Claims (IFAR), supported by the Engineering Services area.
This position is highly visible in meeting Eaton’s goals, having as main performance indicator the on time responses to IFAR Claims and Indirect Purchases.
  1. Indirect Materials request for quotes (RFQs) and PO’s creation, (Office supplies, marketing, professional services, MRO, etc.), looking for the best option according to Eaton SCM standards.
  2. Logistic services RFQs and National Freight matrix update (by route and type of transportation).
  3. Request supplier creation in Oracle and Supplier Database maintenance.
  4. Manage warranty claims process for Power Quality Operation.
  5. Provide acknowledge to customer of IFAR reception and approval, request and follow-up equipment/spare parts replacement to Origin Plant and schedule delivery to the customer.
  6. Reception and control of office supplies invoices to process for payment.
  7. Expedite orders to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
  8. Generate monthly statistical reports of IFAR and batteries failures.
  9. Effectively implement processes designed to deliver world class service.
  10. Coordinate international logistics (USA, Europe, Asia) for air and sea shipments.
  11. Review of documentation for import customs clearance of air & sea shipments.


  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar.
  2. Minimum of 1 year customer service, purchases experience.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office, and Outlook
  4. Good oral and written communication skills in English
