Eaton’s Power Reliability Division division is currently seeking a Lead Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. 
Assure availability and continuity of material supply as required while being responsible for on time manufacturing, inventory accuracy, and scheduling of internal and external supply chains. The Planner performs diversified duties related to MRP planning, scheduling, ECN/ECR maintenance and expediting finished goods and components in order to support customer delivery goals. Requires judgment in anticipating future requirements through analysis and interpretation of current production status.

  • To create a production plan based on the plant master schedule
  • To balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line
  • To process ECN/ECR’s received and update production orders to reflect changes in BOM’s
  • Expedite and assign priorities to production orders in SAP, cascading priorities to internal supply plants
  • To be the plant campaigner finishing all production orders older than 2 weeks
  • To be the campaigner for cleaning COGI errors in SAP as well as driving accountability from material coordinator to prevent  these from happening
  • To be responsible for OTR (On time to release) metric for the Plant
  • To drive accountability for past due status and OTM based on COOIS report
  • To process and create STOs and intercompany orders as needed
  • To provide information to master schedulers about production order and expedites status so RGID’s are communicated to customers
  • To coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability
  • To process and track material rejects for internal suppliers, creating DMT’s and processing scrap

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Operations or Supply Chain functions;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a plant
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience with demonstrated materials planning, shop floor/machine scheduling or capacity planning
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI.
 
Preferred qualifications:
  • APICS CSCP and/or CPIM Certification
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across the organization
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban
  • Knowledge of an ETO manufacturing environment
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel
