Eaton’s Corporate HR function is currently seeking a Director of Talent Planning & Analytics to join our team. This position is based at our Cleveland (Beachwood), Ohio facility.
 
The Director of Talent Planning & Analytics is responsible for establishing and growing Eaton’s talent planning and analytics program and supporting teams.  Eaton has exciting growth platforms which require this leader and teams' support for successful execution.

  • You will have oversight for the Organizational Reporting, Analytics and Planning team; ensuring efficient and effective HR reporting and analytics services for the company
  • You will build Strategic Workforce Planning process and capabilities
    • Define Eaton’s Strategic Workforce Planning process, framework, and tools
    • Scope and lead SWFP proof of concept project; capture lessons learned and incorporate into framework
    • Provide coaching and training to HR and business leaders
  • You will establish a roadmap for leveraging people data in new ways to solve business challenges with analytics
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify opportunities
    • Lead the advancement of analytics skills across the HR function
  • You will support administration of Onboarding, Census, Pulse and Exit surveys.  Provide insights based on advanced and predictive analytics; partner with TA, OE and I&D on survey design and output.
  • You will lead the establishment of an internal sourcing program utilizing technology to integrate available employee data which will include the establishment of a skills management database including providing oversight on the build out and governance to ensure it supports healthy talent movement across Eaton, employee development and workforce planning.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an HR business partner or in workforce planning/talent analytics or related field
     
    Position Criteria
  • I/O psychologist inside an organization/company experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Requires broad leadership skills, including: 
    • Analytical skills, without getting too technical
    • Embracing ambiguity; nimble
    • Learning agility and thought leadership
    • Influence skills for adoption for a new practice
    • Collaboration - able to bring together multiple teams outside of your direct authority to design and deploy solutions
    • Experience working globally within a matrix organization
