Job Description

  • Develop detailed drawings for stamping tools and molds.
  • Resolve design problems
  • Review and analyzes tolerances
  • Review and analyzes material specifications 
  • Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
  • Create and store drawings electronically
  • Quotes spares with external suppliers
  • Spare parts Purchasing process follow up

Qualifications

 

  • Electronic, Automation, Industrial, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2 years’ experience in a supervision position.
  • Tooling design experience
  • Problem Solving Methodologies  (8-D, A3).
  • CAD knowledge is a must (Solid works, catia, solid edge)
  • 2 years` experience at similar position
  • Ability to analyze and work from blueprints and product drawings
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
