Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs  - Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE.  SMC provides diverse opportunities and platform to accelerate individual careers in a challenging environment through  exposure to different global and regional sales and marketing initiatives. This is an individual contributor role working for Eaton Marketing organization. This requires working closely with the business for understanding reporting needs, establishing/documenting requirements and creating reports and dashboards in OBDD/BI Tools as per the requirement. This position also requires collaborating with various business teams to get the required data, facts to meet the business report requirements. Taking end to end ownership of the report/dashboards, ensuring data quality, driving cadence, defining KPI’s with business for marketing evaluation is also part of this role.

 

Essential Function:

 

A.          Working closely with business for getting reporting needs and gathering requirements

B.            Documentation of requirements and signoff

C.            Designing and Creation of the reports in OBDD (Oracle Big Data Discovery)/ BI tool

D.            Connecting with business for data accuracy

E.            Testing the reports and dashboards

E.            Training the users on dashboards/reports

F.            Change management - Document, track, and communicate change with different stakeholders

G.           Stakeholder management, excellent communication and collaboration skills

H.            Understanding of Database concepts and SQL

I.             Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel

I.             Well versed with MS-Office suite

J.             Experience in any of the Reporting/BI tool (OBIEE, OBDD, Qlik View, PowerBI, Tableau, MS-Excel)

K.            Drive project/meetings with stakeholders.

 

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in BI tool.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of BI Architecture.

  • Understanding of defining and tracking Key Performance Indices (KPI).

  • Thorough understanding of business processes & systems.

  • Reasoning ability.

  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate cross-functionally.

  • Must be able to solve problem independently and make decisions.

  • Basic Knowledge Business Applications, and Software testing methodology.

  • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques.
