Tool Room Supervisor
A. Leads tool room team to prepare and execute data driven tooling improvement plans .
B. Analyzes tooling performance to make and execute tooling replacement plans through Capital
C. Develops and executes spare parts strategy for tooling and purchases parts for stocking..
D. Analyze chronic tooling problems and coordinate root cause analysis and execute action plans.
E. Daily follow up to tool room indicators and creates action plans to achieve the goals.
F. Assesses training needs of associates in department and recommends opportunities for
G. Participates in tool room personnel performance evaluations and hiring activities.
H. Direct, lead, and maintain team’s safety and 5S activities
I. Maintains a high level of ethics and confidentiality in all duties.
J.Schedules and coordinates new tooling trials at tooling supplier site.
Qualifications7 years` experience in tooling maintenance
Specialized in thermoset , thermoplastic injection tooling and/or stamping tooling
Proven skills in tooling design and implementation
2D and 3D software for design and modeling of tooling
Electronic, Automation, Industrial, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor’s Degree.
7 years’ experience in a supervision position.
Strong Process oriented.
Tooling design experience
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Problem Solving Methodologies (8-D, A3).
Ability to direct and lead cross-functional teams.
