As an Area Sales Manager-West you will be responsible for achieving the defined sales targets for Stavanger and surrounding area. Furthermore you are responsible for acquiring new customers and increasing sales from our existing customer base.


Your key deliverables :


·       Proactive presence on a regular basis across the defined region with existing and potential clients and with the sales team

·       Development of a sales strategy for the Crouse-Hinds business within the defined region to promote Eaton Crouse-Hinds products

·       Preparation and Management of quotations, coordination of contacts and close collaboration with colleagues from Supply Chain Management on deliveries

·       Management of leads / opportunity pipeline and negotiation of quotations as well as full documentation for the bid

·       Close collaboration with Oil and Gas, Offshore, Marine and Industrial clients on a range of projects

·       Provide technical product support, answer customer enquiries and work closely with them on projects and product specifications

·       Conduct technical presentations to customers

·       Participation in industry exhibitions and customer events


Are you?



·       A degree in electrical engineering or electrical competency such as technical school background


·       Relevant years of experience in working in a technical or technical sales capacity is essential (e.g. as a sales engineer, inside sales/ sales manager, project engineer, technical/ sales support)


·       Proficient sales and communication skills and ability to establish long-term relationships with clients at all levels


·       Experienced in explaining complex technical issues and in conducting presentations


·       Very organized, tenacious and capable of managing processes at different stages - internally, cross-divisional and externally


·       Structured and self-disciplined


·       Fluent in Norwegian and English (spoken and written)
