Regional Sales Manager, Thailand, PDSS

Job Description

  • Manage and support channels with all technical and commercial matters (tendering, shipment, requirements etc).
  • Set, measure and monitor the performance of channels in the region
  • Assist the Supervisor / Country Manager to develop a channels network to expand coverage
  • Liaise with products line managers to obtain the best support for the region and channels
  • Develop sales growth strategies for the new products and solutions
  • Gather market information, eg market trends, customers’ needs, competitor activities
  • Establish sales budget and profit planning of assigned countries.
  • Provide monthly and rolling sales and order forecast
  • Work with Customer Support Representatives to ensure prompt FAT, shipment and services
  • Deliver technical presentations, customize solutions to meet customers’ need and respond to queries
  • Provide budget for promotion expenses and organise product presentation sand trade shows
  • Liaise with Credit Department for payment terms and credit lines of distributors
  • Organize bi-yearly training to sales agents and distributors
  • Liaise with colleagues to finalize quotations and solutions for customers.
  • Attend meetings and arrange site visits with Utility customers to obtain feedback


  • 5 years’ sales experience in the Utilities sector
  • Prior experience managing channel partners in Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia
  • Proven track record in channel development and channel management
  • Experience with electrical products, particularly in HV and MV power transmission and distribution application
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
